Terms of Use
Effective July 15, 2026
Welcome to The Outpost. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Outpost, a weekly content template subscription operated by Madeleine Brandon LLC, doing business as The Kindling Studio ("we," "us," or "our"). By purchasing a subscription or accessing the member archive, you agree to these Terms.
1. The subscription
The Outpost is a paid subscription that provides members with access to a growing archive of social media post templates, prompts, and related creative resources (the "Materials"). New Materials are typically added weekly. We may adjust the cadence, format, or contents of the Materials over time.
2. Accounts and access
Your account is linked to the email address you use at checkout. To keep things simple, please sign up for the member archive using the same email address you used to purchase. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account.
3. License to use the Materials
While your subscription is active and in good standing, you are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access, download, and adapt the Materials for your own use — including use in your own business's content and marketing.
You may:
- Edit and customize templates in your own Canva (or similar) workspace.
- Publish adapted versions of the Materials as content for your own business.
You may not:
- Share, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Materials or any file included in the subscription — in whole or in part, edited or unedited — to any other person or business.
- Post the raw templates, prompts, or source files publicly (including on social media, in a course, in a swipe file, or in a free/paid download).
- Use the Materials to build a competing template library, subscription, or resource collection.
- Share your account login with anyone else.
We retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Materials. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the Materials to you.
4. Violations
We take this seriously — a lot of care goes into building The Outpost, and unauthorized distribution directly harms a small creative business. If we determine that you have violated Section 3, we may (without prior notice) suspend or terminate your subscription without refund, revoke your access to the archive, and pursue any legal or equitable remedies available to us, including recovery of damages and attorneys' fees.
5. Billing, renewals, and cancellations
Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis through our payment processor (ThriveCart / Stripe). Your subscription renews automatically at the then-current rate until you cancel. You may cancel at any time through the subscription management link in your account or in the member archive footer. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not entitle you to a refund of amounts already paid.
6. Refunds
Because the Materials are delivered digitally and immediately accessible upon subscribing, all sales are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If something has gone wrong with your access or your order, please email us and we'll make it right.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your subscription and access to the archive at any time for violation of these Terms or for any conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to other members, to us, or to third parties. On termination, the license granted in Section 3 immediately ends, and you must stop using the Materials.
8. Disclaimers
The Materials and the archive are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee any specific business, marketing, or financial results from using the Materials.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Madeleine Brandon LLC and its owners, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or related to your use of the Materials or the archive. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the subscription will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Hampshire, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Hampshire, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated to active members by email or through a notice in the archive. Continued use of the subscription after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
